Installing new card..

Hey guys, just bought a new video card and 2 new monitors.

Is it just plug and play? Or do I first need to uninstall the current video card drivers etc?
Also, is it ok to install the new video card -and- the monitors at the same time while the pc is off then turn it on?

The new card in a gtx 1660S and the old one is a gtx 650.
